THE SITUATION:
After successfully providing third party recovery services to a large Midwestern County's municipal ambulance oversight agency, Accordis was commissioned to deliver full business office services for all emergency medical transports.

THE SOLUTION:
Responsible for managing the EMS A/R, Accordis tailored our services to meet the County's requirements, including third party eligibility verification, primary and secondary billing to third parties electronically, and billing and collection activity for self-pay classified transports. In our role as the primary billing agent for the County, Accordis acts as a transparent extension of the agency, consistently providing the highest standards of service when working with patients to satisfy outstanding charges.

From a project management standpoint, Accordis regularly provides the County with a full suite of ambulance-specific accounting and management reports. In addition, Accordis has equipped the County with online access to our proprietary claims billing and tracking system to enable management to monitor our liquidation success instantaneously, including at the individual account level.
